About this event

Made Tech proudly supported the DVLA Code Challenge in 2022, organised by the DVLA STEM Programme. We’re pleased to share we were the only sponsor with STEM ambassadors at the event.

The Code Challenge encourages students of all ages in Wales to develop their problem-solving, and team-working skills. It also helps improve their knowledge of programming in a fun and innovative way, and also to win IT equipment for their schools or groups.

Our team ran Quick, Draw! on a laptop so students could see how neural networks learn – to recognise doodles, in this case! They could see how well it does with their drawings and teach it as they play.
