Made Tech awarded new contract by the Ministry of Justice

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has awarded Made Tech a contract to modernise their prison case management systems by developing user-friendly digital services.

07/01/2025

This project is part of the MoJ’s initiative to replace legacy systems across HM Prisons and Probation Service, enabling faster, more flexible, and efficient processes.

The new digital services will streamline how financial transactions are managed within the prison system, making processes such as fines, payments for work, and money transfers quicker and easier for both prison staff and offenders. This is a significant step towards the MoJ’s vision of using digital technology to transform public services.

Made Tech was selected for our delivery expertise and ability to meet the MoJ’s requirements for this important initiative. Our multi-disciplinary teams will work closely with the MoJ to bring these digital services to life, ensuring that the MoJ have simpler, clearer, faster services for the future. The contract is worth £7m over 2 years, with the possibility of extending to a third year.

We’re delighted to have been selected to support the MoJ in this vital project and we’re committed to continuing to deliver digital services that will make a real difference to the prison and probation teams.”
